Dr Lorna graduated from Medical School of University College Cork in her native Ireland in 2005 and worked through various hospital specialities prior to completing GP training in 2011. After her graduation, she completed several other qualifications. She was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian the College of General Practitioners in 2012.
Since moving to Australia in 2013, Dr Lorna has been providing General Practice services in country Victoria and joined Ivanhoe in 2021.
She enjoys working as a GP and really getting to know patients well over the course of many years working together in order to achieve better health outcomes.
She is interested in all aspects of General practice, from child health to senior patients with more complex health needs.
Special Interests include; Dermatology, Women’s health, including insertion/ removal of Implanon and IUDs and provision of MTOP. Dr Stanley is also a Shared Maternity Care Affiliate.
Outside work, she spends as much time as possible outdoors – running, walking, or doing water activities.
