Dr Hassani graduated in 2003 with a doctorate of Medicine in Iran. He came for a holiday to Australia in 2007 and decided to move here. He has been practicing with the Nerang communities since 2009. Dr Hassani obtained his Fellowship in Royale Australian College of General Practitioners in 2010.
Dr Mohsen Hassani has a Master’s degree in skin cancer medicine and surgery from The University of Queensland since 2017. This extra study makes him capable of diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers including Carcinomas (BCC and SCC) and Malignant Melanoma in a surgical and non-surgical way. Dr Hassani is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of GP, a Fellow of Skin Cancer Institute, a Member of Australia Rural and Remote Medicine, a Member of Skin Cancer College of Australasia and a Member of International Dermatoscopy Society.
Dr Hassani’s fields of interest are skin cancer screening & procedures, chronic disease management such as diabetes, asthma, COPD, and musculoskeletal.
His personal interests are basketball, music, theatre and dance.
Dr Hassani speaks Persian.
