Dr Kausar’s unwavering dedication to women’s health, combined with her wealth of knowledge, positions her as an invaluable addition to our practice.

Dr Kausar is a widely respected gynaecologist with a special focus on minimally invasive and aesthetic gynaecological surgery. Her extensive experience encompasses a wide array of women’s health concerns, ranging from cervical cancer prevention to intricate surgical procedures. She possesses exceptional expertise in cervical cancer prevention strategies, including managing abnormal cervical smears and conducting colposcopies.

Dr Kausar is a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment, delivering compassionate, evidence-based care. Her approach involves educating women and empowering them to make well-informed decisions about their health, ensuring they receive personalised, top-tier care tailored to their individual needs.

Dr Samina Kausar embarked on her illustrious career in Pakistan, earning her first postgraduate qualification (FCPS, Fellowship in Obstetrics & Gynaecology). She then ventured to the United Kingdom, where she became a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (MRCOG UK) and served as a consultant in Obs & Gynae. Her journey continued in Australia, culminating in her fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG).

Dr Kausar currently serves as a consultant for Obs & Gynae at Western Health Melbourne, Victoria, and is eagerly extending her services to the community at Modern Medical Caroline Springs.

Beyond her clinical proficiency, Dr Samina Kausar is a fervent educator. Armed with a formal medical education qualification (PG Cert Med Education from Edge Hill University, UK), she has a keen interest in simulation training. Dr Kausar conducts simulation training sessions for midwives and trainee doctors and holds the role of an educational supervisor for RANZCOG trainees. Her commitment to continuous learning shines through her active participation in professional societies such as the American Association of Gynaecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL), Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy & Surgery Society (AGES), and the Australian Society of Ultrasound in Medicine (ASUM).
