We’re excited to welcome Dr Namrah Shafiq to the team at Beenleigh Medical Centre!
Dr Namrah is a highly experienced and compassionate female General Practitioner who brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to her patients. She graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Karachi, Pakistan, in 2006, and trained in various hospitals across Pakistan before beginning her career as a GP. In 2017, she moved to Australia and began working at Greenslopes Hospital before transitioning into General Practice. Since 2019, she has been providing care across medical centres in Brisbane and surrounding areas. In 2024, she achieved her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
Dr Namrah takes a compassionate, collaborative, and holistic approach to patient care. She enjoys working alongside her patients to help them achieve their individual health goals. Her special interests include:
- Women’s Health
- Antenatal Care
- Preventative Health
- Chronic Disease Management
- Children’s Health
As part of her ongoing development, she has also completed a Professional Certificate of Aesthetic Medicine and a Diploma in Skin Cancer Medicine, broadening the scope of care she provides.

- Skin cancer excisions, including grafts and flaps
- Wedge resection of ingrown toenails

Dr Namrah is fluent in English and Urdu and also understands Punjabi, making her accessible to patients from diverse backgrounds.
