Please be aware that our receptionists cannot provide advice on Bulk Billing for consultations. The decision to Bulk Bill is made solely by the doctor, as receptionists are not equipped to advise on this matter. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to discuss any billing concerns directly with your doctor.

We are a private billing practice, therefore the majority of our services will incur a fee. Medicare rebates can be processed on the day by our reception team:

• Standard Consultation (Mon – Fri) – $ 107 (Medicare rebate – $41.20)
• Standard Consultation (Saturday Before 1pm) – $ 125 (Medicare rebate – $41.20)
• Standard Consultation (Saturday after 1pm, Sunday and Public Holidays) – $ 185 (Medicare rebate – $53.65)
• Long Consultation – $ 208 (Medicare rebate – $79.70)

Please note that all fees are charged at the discretion of the treating doctor on the day of consultation. All weekend and public holiday sessions are available for urgent cases and for existing patients of this clinic. These sessions run on an appointment system, please phone for a time. These appointments are charged at a higher rate.

DVA Gold Card card holders will be bulk billed.

​A $10.00 administration fee will be added to outstanding accounts for every month overdue.

Appointments are required, simply book online or call our friendly reception team.

A standard appointment is 15 minutes. If you have multiple issues to discuss, it is advised to book a longer appointment by calling the clinic. This approach helps us to maintain our commitment to quality patient care and make sure every patient is seen at their appointment time. Due to unforeseen circumstances your doctor may occasionally run late, but reception will advise waiting times when you check in. Please arrive on time for your appointment, so other appointments aren’t delayed.

If your doctor has requested pathology, radiology or other tests be performed, you will be notified if you are required to make a follow up appointment. Your doctor may also elect to ring you with your results, however this is at their own discretion. Please note that reception cannot provide your results.  Please provide up to date contact phone numbers so that any urgent messages can be conveyed.

Medical Certificates can be provided by your doctor following a consultation, unfortunately they cannot be backdated. Please try to contact the clinic early in your illness should you require this service.

Your doctor may deem it appropriate to refer you to a specialist for treatment, or for tests to be performed outside of this medical center.  Patients have the choice of referral to a private specialist or facility, where there will be out-of-pocket costs incurred. Alternatively, referral to a public hospital outpatients department can be arranged.

Please note that this may incur a fee charged at the doctors discretion.

Please include the following details in your email:

• Patient name and date of birth
• Name of regular practitioner at the clinic
• Prescription details (including dosage) or referral practitioner details
• How you would like to receive your request (e-script, email, faxed to pharmacy/specialist rooms, pick-up)

These requests may not always be actioned on the same day, so if the matter is urgent please call the clinic. ​Your doctor may indicate that you may require an appointment for your request, in which case reception will advise you to book. Good healthcare is only achieved when patients are prepared to be reviewed and monitored regularly; your best health outcomes are our first concern.

The doctors of this practice have limited time available to perform home visits. If a patient is unable to attend the surgery, please phone reception to discuss options for that day.

In line with the national privacy principals- your medical record is a confidential document. It is the policy of this practice to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorised members of staff.

From time to time, this practice invites patients to complete a questionnaire on their views of the practice and how it could be improved. We would appreciate any comments you may wish to make to help us improve our services.
