Please be aware that our receptionists cannot provide advice on Bulk Billing for consultations. The decision to Bulk Bill is made solely by the doctor, as receptionists are not equipped to advise on this matter. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to discuss any billing concerns directly with your doctor.

Bulk Billing of STANDARD consults will continue for children up to the age of 17 with valid Medicare cards and Pensioners and DVA Concession Card holders, white cardholders must meet card criteria.

All new patients, including those in the above bulk-billing segments, pay a private fee. If you are an existing patient that has not been at the practice in the past 12 months, you will be classified as a new patient, and the below fees will be charged.

Private fees:

Mon – Fri:

• Standard Appt  – one issue only – $75.00 (Medicare Rebate: $41.20)
• Long Appt – up to three issues – $110.00 (Medicare Rebate: $79.70)
• Extended Appt – three to five issues – $150.00 (Medicare Rebate: $117.40)

Sat, Sun + Public Holiday rates:

• Standard Appointments  – $85.00 (Medicare Rebate: $53.65)
• Long Appointments  – $125.00 (Medicare Rebate: $92.00)
• Extended Appointments – $170 (Medicare Rebate: $129.00)

PRIVATE FEES APPLY TO ALL PATIENTS ON SUNDAYS.

Please note there is a 4-hour cancellation policy. Failure to notify us with 2 hours notice of your intended appointment time will result in a $40 fee.

If you must cancel your appointment, we require 2 hours of notice, or a $40 charge applies every time.

Our standard appointment types have specific time allowances, so please book a longer consultation if required to be fair to other patients. This approach helps us maintain our commitment to providing each patient with the attention they deserve. Additionally, we appreciate your punctuality for appointments. Please note late arrivals may not be seen during busy periods.

We do standard 10 minute appointments. Some services like pap smears, health assessments, skin checks, or if you have a number of complex concerns to discuss with your GP, may need longer appointments.

You need to make an appointment to see a doctor for all scripts. If you have lost your script the doctor will decide if another can be issued without an appointment; a $15 administration fee may be charged.

The practitioners adhere to the AMA code of Ethics regarding Privacy and Confidentiality, please be assured that your medical records and consultations are kept in the strictest confidence.

Please ask the reception team for a ‘transfer of medical records’ request. This can then be provided to your previous practice / doctor.

In accordance with the Department of Health COVID-19 guidelines, we have implemented strict distancing and hygiene measures within the practice. Therefore, we encourage you to call reception and notify them you will be coming in for a pathology test. This enables them to triage you over the phone prior to your arrival.

Work cover patients will be treated the same as regular patients. Please notify your employer before your first consultation so they may provide you with a claim number related to your current case. You can then make a booking online for a GP consult, which will be conducted via Telehealth (phone or video call) from within the safety of your own home.

Specialists typically require a referral letter from a GP. Please make a Telehealth appointment with a GP first to ask about a referral letter; your GP will advise you accordingly and if you are required to come into the practice.

Our communications Policy details how and when we receive and return telephone calls and electronic communication.

We will not disturb a doctor during a consultation. We will let the doctor know if a patient has contacted the practice for them and will respond appropriately.

Please note emails are there for administrative purposes. We will not disclose personal information over email and will not use this method to book or cancel appointments.

We may get in touch with you via SMS or email to update you with general information about our practice or health services for your information. Any generic email communication to you is done using only a name and email, for the purposes of these communications, please be advised that no further information is stored.

We are constantly striving to improve the quality of our service. We value your input, and any suggestion that you may have that could assist the practice in enhancing the quality of our service will be reviewed. If you have a problem we would like to hear about it. Please feel free to talk to the Practice Manager or you may prefer to write to us. We take your concerns, suggestions and complaints seriously. We believe that problems are best dealt within the practice.
