Dr Prabhat graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Gajra Raja Medical School, Jiwaji University, Gwalior, India in 1980. After graduation, he did various rotations in hospitals including posting in rural areas. Dr Kapadia has more than 20 years of experience in general practice in Australia having started his General Practice career in Texas QLD in 2000. He completed his Postgraduate studies and obtained Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2005. He continued with further education and obtained a Diploma in Child Health from the University of Sydney in 2016.
He has a special interest in Aboriginal Health, Paediatrics, Skin Cancer, Mental Health, Men’s Health and Children’s Health.
He speaks English, Gujarati and Hindi languages.
