Dr Sameer Badgoti is an Australian-trained GP and has been a full-time practising GP since 2013. He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Barkatulla Vishwavidyalaya, India, in 2002. He was awarded his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, Australia, in 2019. After moving to Australia, Dr Sameer, before becoming a GP, undertook training as a paediatric doctor at Rockhampton Base Hospital, Royal Hobart Hospital, and Burnie Hospitals. Dr Badgoti gained a wealth of experience working in India and the Maldives before moving to Australia. He thoroughly enjoyed working as a GP in rural and regional Victoria before coming to the Gold Coast in 2022
He is confident in managing both acute and chronic health issues. He has interests in Men’s health, Weight management, Chronic disease management, diagnosing and managing Paediatric illnesses and managing Skin cancers & dermatological conditions, and Travel medicine.
He also enjoys occupational medicine & is happy to conduct private/commercial driving medicals, pre-employment assessments & manage work-related injuries. He can prescribe medical cannabis to the appropriate patients.
