Dr Thanuja Pathiranage received her Bachelor of Medicine/ Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka, in 2004. After her initial training in Sri Lanka, she worked in various medical facilities in Sri Lanka. She moved to Australia in 2017 and continued her professional development while working in General Practice in Rowville. Dr Thanuja was awarded her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2023.
She is passionate about serving patients. She is a highly qualified doctor in Rowville who feels that a holistic and preventative approach to healthcare is important.
She also speaks Sinhalese.
