Dr Yogesh Rathod graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of the South Pacific in 1988. He completed his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, Australia, in 2009.
He has been a GP college examiner and held a senior lecturer position at the University of Queensland, Dept of General Practice, for his participation in teaching medical students and GP trainees in the clinic setting. Dr Rathod has worked across a range of specialities. His work has seen him practise in rural, metro, and university clinics and in indigenous health clinic settings. He enjoys working the full spectrum of general practice.
Dr Yogesh Rathod also has special interests in veterans’ health and well-being, chronic disease management, men’s health, mental health, preventative health.
Dr Yogesh speaks English, Hindi, Fijian and Gujarati.
