Dr Cathie Anderson is an honours graduate of Sydney University. She also has a Masters degree in Family Medicine from Monash University, a certificate of Family Planning from FPA, is a member of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine and has been a certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). She has also done further training in mental health.
Cathie provides comprehensive medical care for patients of all ages, with her care extending from newborns with their parents, to providing home visits to the elderly in the local aged care facilities. Her focus is on helping her patients achieve their best possible health.
Her special interests include infant feeding (particularly breastfeeding), women’s and children’s health and also mental health issues.
She really enjoys providing long term healthcare of her patients, which often involves looking after several generations of families.
Cathie is also the wife of Dr John Delaney, the mother of five sons, and the grandmother of five. She enjoys being physically active, and also creates quilts in her spare time.
