Introducing Dr Katrina Niles: Our New Female GP at Centre Road Medical Centre!

We welcome Dr Katrina Niles to the Centre Road Medical Centre team as our newest female General Practitioner. Dr Niles is a valuable addition to our practice with a wealth of experience and a passion for providing comprehensive care.

Dr Niles completed her medical degree at Guy’s, King’s, and St. Thomas’ Medical School in London in 2009. She completed her General Practice Training in the UK, where she was awarded Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners of the United Kingdom. Dr Niles worked in the UK for seven years before moving to Australia, gaining extensive experience in both rural and urban settings through her work in hospitals and medical centres.

Dr Katrina Niles enjoys all aspects of General Practice, with special interests in women’s health, fertility, travel medicine, sexual health, pediatrics, and Implanon insertion/removal. Her expertise and dedication to patient care ensure that she provides personalised treatment tailored to each individual’s needs.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr Niles is actively involved in the teaching programme for medical students at Monash University. She is passionate about inspiring the next generation of doctors to consider a rewarding career in General Practice.

Outside of her professional life, Dr Niles enjoys exploring new cuisines, travelling, and maintaining an active lifestyle with activities such as hot pilates, cycling, and skiing. She is always eager to hear about new restaurants in town!
