2026 VIC GP CPD Conference Brings Together 90+ Doctors and Nurses in Melbourne

All Practices, Head Office

More than 90 doctors and nurses came together in Melbourne for the 2026 VIC GP CPD Conference, hosted by Qualitas Health Australia. The event stands as a strong reflection of our network’s ongoing commitment to learning, collaboration, and delivering the highest standard of patient care across Victoria.

Held at Mercure Melbourne Doncaster, this RACGP-accredited education event brought together clinicians from across our Victorian practices for a full day of practical, relevant, and evidence-based education — thoughtfully designed to support the evolving realities of General Practice.

A Comprehensive Clinical Education Program

This year’s GP CPD Conference Melbourne program was carefully curated to address the clinical topics most relevant to GPs and nurses working in today’s healthcare environment. Sessions covered a broad and diverse range of areas, including:

  • Dyspnoea for GPs
  • Interpreting Common Biochemical Abnormalities
  • Approaches to Sleep Apnoea
  • ASCVD Care: Australian Insights & Actionable Strategies
  • Menopause Management in General Practice
  • Acute Eye Presentations
  • The Biologic Revolution in Dermatology
  • The Journey of Dementia: From MCI to Advanced Dementia

Hands-On Learning: Interactive Workshop Rotations

A major highlight of this year’s GP CPD Conference Melbourne was the introduction of interactive workshop rotations, giving attendees more hands-on and case-based learning opportunities. These workshops included:

  • Travel Medicine: Risk Assessment & Prevention Planning
  • ECG + Syncope Workshop
  • Fragility Fractures, Knee Examination & Common Knee Conditions in General Practice

80+ CPD Hours: Recognition of Depth and Quality

Through a combination of pre-event learning, on-the-day education, and post-event activities, participating GPs had access to 80+ CPD hours — a testament to the depth, quality, and careful curation of the RACGP accredited program delivered by our team.

Our Commitment to GP Growth and Patient Outcomes

At Qualitas Health, we are committed to creating an environment where GPs and Nurses within our network are supported to grow, connect, and deliver the best possible clinical and patient outcomes — helping more Australians experience better health.

The overwhelmingly positive feedback received throughout the day was a testament to the calibre of speakers, engagement of attendees, and collaborative spirit of the event.
