Dr Annie Xinrui Zhou is a General Practitioner who completed her medical degree at the University of Newcastle and undertook her hospital training at John Hunter Hospital.
She has a particular interest in Women’s Health and Paediatrics. Dr Zhou has extensive experience in women’s healthcare, having worked as a Senior Resident Medical Officer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Blacktown Hospital. She is also accredited to do antenatal shared care at RPA Women and Babies/Canterbury Hospital. She provides comprehensive care across all stages of a woman’s life, including contraception and family planning, pregnancy care, cervical screening, menopause management, and the assessment and treatment of gynaecological conditions. She is accredited to perform Implanon insertion and removal.
Dr Zhou has further developed her expertise in paediatrics through completion of the Sydney Child Health Programme with the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network and her role as a Senior Resident Medical Officer at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead. She enjoys caring for children of all ages and supporting families with their healthcare needs.
Dr Zhou is also an ADHD continuation prescriber and an ASHM-accredited S100 prescriber for Hepatitis B and HIV, enabling her to provide ongoing evidence-based care for patients requiring these specialised treatments.
In addition to her special interests, Dr Zhou provides comprehensive general practice services, including preventive health, chronic disease management, mental health, and acute medical care. She is committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centred care and values building long-term relationships with her patients.
Dr Zhou consults in both English and Mandarin on Saturdays and Sundays.
