Dr Dona Jayasinghe is a vocationally qualified and experienced female General Practitioner, having completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, 2001. She continued with her post graduate studies and completed a Doctor of Medicine from Postgraduate Institute of Medicine, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka in 2009. She was awarded the Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2016.
After completing her initial training and then practicing in Hospitals and General Practices in Sri Lanka following her graduation from 2004 to 2011, Dr Dona migrated to Sydney, Australia in 2011 and worked at Campbelltown Hospital, NSW before moving to Victoria in 2013. She continued to work as a General Practitioner in Echuca and Burwood VIC before joining Doctors on Centre.
Dr Dona has special interest in General medicine, Infectious Diseases, Women Health, Dermatology, Paediatrics and Sexual Health. Dr Dona speaks Sinhala in addition to English.
