Dr Rod Sitlington completed his Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Melbourne, Australia in 1980. He has over 40 years of experience as a general practitioner mainly practicing in Melbourne. Dr Rod has merged his practice Surrey Hills Health Matters with Modern Medical Balwyn.
Dr Rod is dedicated to giving great patient care to his community and enjoys the variety that general practice offers. In fact, he thinks that he has the best job in the world! When he is not practising, he pursues a variety of outside interests. He is a sports enthusiast, particularly an avid cricket and AFL fan, and a keen golfer.
Dr Rod enjoys the variety of true generalist practices, as well as has a particular interest in minor procedures and men’s health. He runs a minor procedure clinic once per week.
