Christy Yeung

Accredited Practising Dietitian

Return to Practice Page

Christy is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with a background in biomedical research from the University of Melbourne. She is passionate about using food as everyday medicine – not just to prevent disease, but to promote sustainable, long-term health. Having navigated a challenging relationship with food in her teens, Christy understands how early experiences and attitudes around food and body image can profoundly shape eating habits in later life. With this insight, she is known for creating a safe and non-judgmental space where clients feel genuinely heard and supported.

Christy’s work is thorough and research-informed. Her 4-step approach includes:

  1. Assessing your bloodwork, medical history, dietary and lifestyle habits
  2. Identifying the root cause of your health concerns
  3. Building a personalised diet tailored to your unique goals, dietary preferences and lifestyle
  4. Providing regular check-ins to help you resolve issues and stay on track

She has worked with clients of all ages across hospital, private practice and community settings. In addition to chronic diseases like obesity, diabetes, high cholesterol and fatty liver disease, Christy has a special interest in fussy eating in children; endometriosis, PCOS and menopause; gut and digestive conditions; eating disorders; and sports nutrition.

Christy is passionate about inclusive and accessible healthcare. She offers her services in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, with low gap fees for patients with a valid Enhanced Primary Care Plan referral from their GP.

You can now see Christy at our practice on Saturdays or online on weekdays.
