Dolly holds a Bachelor of Health Science degree in physiotherapy and a Bachelor of Science degree in physiology and psychology. Since graduation, she has worked in private practice in Auckland and Sydney.
Dolly’s psychology background ensures a focus on both your body and mind. Her area of work has included musculoskeletal injuries in sports, repetitive strain, work environment, and acute and chronic conditions. Dolly has a particular interest in biomechanics and movement patterns, as these are often the reasons for a persistent niggle. Dolly has years of experience in manual therapy and utilises Western acupuncture/dry needling and exercise prescriptions, including Pilates exercises, to fast-track your recovery. Dolly treats a vast array of conditions, including pre- and post-operative care, work cover injuries, motor vehicle accidents (CTP), DVA or EPC referrals, acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, respiratory/chest clearance issues, falls prevention/balance retraining, posture correction/workstation ergonomics, and biomechanical issues in sports such as running, swimming and golf.
