Farah completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2001 and has worked as a physiotherapist in various areas of physiotherapy. She has more than 20 years of clinical experience in different settings, including private practice, hydrotherapy, community rehab, age care and rehabilitation (musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation).
Farah is a passionate physiotherapist interested in all musculoskeletal and neurological physiotherapy areas. She has special interests in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, pain management and rehabilitation, which have led her to take postgraduate training in clinical Pilates, a postgraduate certificate in musculoskeletal, a Master of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at Latrobe University and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy at the University of Sydney. She is a Glad-trained physiotherapist and has extensive experience in hydrotherapy and providing rehabilitation for NDIS clients.
As a clinician, Farah has a patient-centred and evidence-based approach to assessing and treating her patients. She is committed in supporting her patients to reach their maximum potential. She applies a number of treatment modalities, including soft tissue therapy, mobilisation, and tailored exercise programmes (one-on-one and group), ranging from stretching, posture and core exercises, to clinic and pool/gym-based functional conditioning exercises.
On her days off, Farah enjoys running, hiking, swimming, bike riding, gardening, and cooking
