A/Prof Peter Tipping graduated from Monash University in 1975 and trained at Prince Henry’s Hospital. He has over 30 years experience in general practice and has been working in Clayton for the past 22 years. He is the practice principal at Clayton Road Doctors. His areas of special interests are kidney disease, immunology and travel medicine.
He has been an active clinical academic at Monash University since completing a PhD in 1985 and has published more than 120 research articles. He was an NHMRC Research fellow for 20 years and continues his research interests in inflammation and immunology as an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at Monash University. He is also a member of the Senior Medical Staff at Monash Medical Centre.
