Dr Aixia Wu is a vocationally qualified and experienced female General Practitioner. She graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Sun Yet-Sen University, China (excludes SARs and Taiwan) in 2002. Dr Wu completed her initial training in China and continued working in a General Practice before moving to Australia. She commenced her Australian GP work in Victoria in 2018, then moved to Queensland in 2020, and continued to Practice as a General Practitioner. She continued her professional development and was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), Australia, in 2021.
Dr Aixia Wu has also completed her Advanced Certificate in Skin Cancer and a Professional Certificate of Aesthetic Medicine.
Dr Wu has a special interest in skin cancer, minor procedures like ingrown toenails/wedge resection, skin lesion excision, Implanon / Mirena removal and insertion, iron infusion, women’s health, mental health and chronic disease management.
She speaks Mandarin and Cantonese in addition to English.
