Dr Alec Mahwendepi graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from Medical School, University of Zimbabwe in 1997. He completed his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2011.
Dr Alec has over 20 years working on the medical coalface. He worked in busy referral hospitals in Southern Africa before transitioning into General Practice where his passion really thrives. He loves looking after the patient holistically. He is easygoing, while going the extra mile to give medical advice which advances the whole person’s wellness. He has over 15 years in general practice.
In Australia he has over 10 years of continuously working in general practice. He has worked at Dunmunkle Health in Murtoa, Minyip and Rupanyip in Western Victoria. He moved to Primary Medical and Dental in Melton. He loves working with people with a keen interest in seeing people enjoy quality health.
