Dr Angela Chien is a specialist general practitioner interested in preventive care, women’s health, weight management, and chronic disease management.
She graduated from Melbourne University in 1998 with a Bachelor of medicine and a Bachelor of surgery. Angela then obtained a fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2005. She became an examiner in 2006 and enjoyed examining registrars for many years. Angela has also been reviewing manuscripts for the Australian Journal of General Practice since 2006 until now.
She is passionate about patient-centred care and applies the latest evidence-based medicine with many years of clinical experience in looking after her patients. Angela enjoys educating her patients about their conditions and empowering them to make informed decisions about their health. She also loves working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve the best patient outcome.
Angela speaks fluent Mandarin in addition to English.
Outside work, she enjoys reading, walking, and spending time with family and friends.
