Dr Ashwini Supperamohan completed her Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Tasmania, Australia in 2007. After completing her internship in Tasmania she moved to Victoria and continued with her training. She also holds a Bachelor of Medical Science degree. She completed her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2020.
She has working experience in both rural and metropolitan hospitals and has recently returned from Bendigo after 5 years of regional practise and training in General Practise. She is committed to working with her patients and colleagues at Ivanhoe Medical Clinic to promote good community healthcare.
Her special interests include bariatric medicine, chronic health conditions, dermatology, and older persons’ healthcare.
She enjoys gardening, and drawing and is open to learning a new skill every month when not working at the clinic.
Dr Ashwini speaks Malay in addition to English.
