Dr Biswajit Roy completed his Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Rajshahi University, Bangladesh, in 2001. After that, he has extensive experience working in different hospitals and general practice settings overseas before moving to Australia. He started working in general practice in Australia in 2015 and obtained his Fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2018. He is highly committed to quality healthcare, not only to treat diseases but also to maintain the patient’s health and quality of life.
Dr Biswajit is interested in all aspects of General Practice with a special interest in skin conditions, child health, diabetes and other chronic disease management. He also undertakes minor surgical procedures for skin cancer and other skin lesions, Implanon insertion and removal.
Apart from medicine, he loves to spend time with family, watch soccer and travelling. He speaks Bengali in addition to English.
