Dr Catherine enjoys all aspects of GP work. She has a special interest in reproductive and sexual health. She is certified to advise on menopause, contraceptive methods and to insert all types of IUDs (intrauterine devices) and implanon (hormonal implants). Catherine has been a doctor since 1984 and a General Practitioner since 1988. In addition to her clinical work she has done overseas medical aid work and currently sits on tribunals for the NCAT Guardianship Division. Catherine worked in Aboriginal health for 6 years and has a Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health from Family Planning NSW.
Dr Pratten is certified to insert and remove copper and hormonal (Mirena/Kyleena) IUDs (intrauterine devices) and Implanon NXT (hormonal implants)
