Dr Chathurika Indeewarie Wansapura is a vocationally qualified and experienced female General Practitioner, having completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the Medical Faculty University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, in 2007. She was awarded the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) Fellow in 2022.
After completing her initial training, she practised in hospitals and General Practice in Sri Lanka. In 2013, Dr Wansapura commenced practising as a General Practitioner in Victoria.
Dr Wansapura has experience consulting with patients from multicultural backgrounds and has a special interest in women’s health.
Dr Wansapura speaks Sinhalese in addition to English.
