Dr Cheryl Wang has practised in medicine for 18 years and has worked as a GP since 2005. She had 3 years of working experience in China before migrating to Australia in 2000. After another 3 years of hospital rotations in Shepparton and Melbourne, she took up GP training in Gippsland. She worked in Gippsland for 6 years then moved back to Melbourne and joined Modern Medical Balwyn in Dec 2011. She now resides with her husband and 2 daughters in the eastern suburbs close to Balwyn. Her main interest is general medicine including all chronic illnesses, women’s health and paediatrics. She does minor procedures as well. When she is away from work, she enjoys reading, travelling and having a relaxed time with her children and extended family.
