Dr Chiranjal (Sunny) Saikia is an experienced general practitioner, working as a doctor for over 17 years. Dr Chiranjal completed his Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Gauhati, Guwahati, India in 2004. After working as General Practitioner in India, Dr Chiranjal migrated to Australia in 2010 and began his career as an emergency medicine trainee in Sydney.
Dr Chiranjal pursued his passion for primary care and completed his Fellowship at the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2021. As a member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, Chiranjal enjoys the diagnosis and management of skin conditions and is proficient in performing skin cancer surgeries.
Dr Chiranjal has worked across various specialties, including geriatric medicine, paediatrics, cardiology, orthopaedic surgery and women’s health.
He has special interests in women’s health, men’s sexual health and chronic and complex medical conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and auto-immune diseases and dermatology.
