Dr Chune (Laura) Lei graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, China where she obtained her Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery degree (MBBS) and master’s degree in paediatrics. She migrated to Australia in 2015 and completed her Australia Medical Council exams. She worked for The Tweed Hospital and Gold Coast University Hospital before commencing General Practice training at the Royal Australian College for General Practitioners (RACGP). She obtained her Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) Fellowship in 2024.
Dr Lei finds joy in the broad scope of General Practice. Her commitment extends to areas including chronic disease management, children’s health, women’s health, men’s health, mental health, preventive health and skin cancer medicine, including full body skin checks and minor skin procedures. She also carries out iron infusion, superficial cyst or abscess incision, and drainage.
Dr Lei is known for her holistic and comprehensive approach. She is dedicated to providing compassionate and personalised healthcare.
Dr Lei is a mother of two. She enjoys spending time with her family and exploring the natural scenery at Gold Coast.
Dr Lei is proficient in English and Mandarin.
