Dr Fareesa Zaman graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Bahria University Islamabad, Pakistan in 2003. She obtained her Fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2022.
Dr Fareesa has a broad hospital-based work experience in Australia, across different sub-specialities of medicine in addition to diverse general practice experience. To pursue her interest in dermatology, she completed a primary skin cancer medicine certificate.
Dr Fareesa has special interests in managing mental health, women’s health, paediatrics, preventative medicine, chronic disease management, weight management, geriatric medicine, palliative medicine and skin cancer medicine. She performs Implanon insertion/ removal, iron infusion, cryotherapy, spot checks and excisional biopsy.
Dr Fareesa speaks Urdu in addition to English.
