In 2004, Dr Alam completed and graduated (MBBS) in Pakistan, and migrated to Australia in 2005. He worked in Emergency Departments with Queensland Health and NSW Health for 3 years consecutive before deciding to become a General Practitioner in 2008, and Dr Alam started practicing in Nerang in the same year. He has since been the Principal GP at Doctors @ Nerang Mall and earned his Fellowship in General Practice with the Royal College of General Practitioners [RACGP] in 2012.
His major interests are: diabetes, hypertension and high cholesterol management, geriatrics, mental health (especially youth mental health issues), musculoskeletal problems (especially arthritis and injectable nutrients therapy (vitamin C, etc.)) and all emergencies.
Dr Haseeb Alam is currently training to be an acupuncturist and is a strong believer in alternative treatments such as vitamin and nutrition support, especially injectable/infusion nutrients therapy.
His personal interests are cricket and movies.
Dr Alam also speaks Urdu, Punjabi.
