Dr. Khee Yong graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2012. He subsequently started physician (specialist) training in Adelaide, rotating through various specialties such as cardiology, geriatric medicine, respiratory medicine and general medicine before deciding on GP training which allow him to focus on preventive heath. The experience during his specialist training has equipped him with a wealth of medical knowledge and experience in managing complex medical issues.
Dr. Yong was trained in country South Australia having worked at the Barossa Valley and Riverland. During his time in the country, he was involved in running the local Aboriginal Health Clinic where he developed an interest in Aboriginal Health. He obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioner in 2022.
