Lisa obtained her medical degree (MBBS) from Monash University, graduating with honours in 2002. After graduating, she worked in various hospitals, including Box Hill, Austin, the Royal Children’s Hospital, and the Mercy Hospital, where she obtained a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She also worked in Thailand for 12 months during the rebuilding phase after the Tsunami. She completed her general practice training and became a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2009. She’s been working at Ivanhoe Medical Centre since 2012.
Lisa really enjoys getting to know her patients and journeying with them through all life brings. She is passionate about preventative health and maximising health outcomes in those with chronic disease. She also has a special interest in women’s and children’s health and as such, she is:
* Accredited for Shared Maternity Care (care during pregnancy) with The Mercy, The Northern and the Royal Women’s Hospital
* Able to insert and remove Implanon for contraception
* Able to complete iron infusions
Outside of work, Lisa spends most of her time running between school, church, sports practices and matches with her family and as such, she understands the pressures of being a working parent.
