Dr Aslam Farook is an experienced specialist General Practitioner who graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka in 2012. After moving to Australia in 2017 he worked in Emergency for two years in regional QLD. Dr Farook was awarded the Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2024.
Dr Aslam has over a decade of experience as a medical practitioner. Before entering general practice, Dr Aslam worked in ICU, Anaesthesia and Emergency medicine for five years. Dr Aslam has also completed Professional Diploma of Skin Cancer Surgery at Health Cert education.
He has special interests in Skin cancer checks, skin cancer surgery and management, Men’s and Children’s health, Chronic disease management, Management of Alopecia, Acne, Erectile dysfunction, and Obesity as well as Minor procedures (including iron infusions).
Outside of work Dr Aslam enjoys cricket, travel and spending time with his young family.
Dr Aslam speaks Tamil and Sinhalese in addition to English.
