Dr Mohammad Khalesi is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) with nearly two decades of experience in family medicine. He provides comprehensive care to patients at all stages of life, including children, adolescents, adults and older patients.
Dr Khalesi has extensive expertise in skin diseases, early skin cancer detection and the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers. He is highly skilled in advanced skin surgery, including the removal of skin cancers, cysts and lumps, as well as complex flap and graft repairs across various areas of the body.
Dr Khalesi holds a PhD in skin cancer from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane. He has published widely in peer-reviewed international journals, with more than 200 citations to his research worldwide.
His expertise in skin cancer has also been recognised in the media. He has appeared as an expert guest on an SBS News podcast discussing UV radiation, sunscreen and skin cancer prevention, and his research has been featured in a national 7NEWS television interview.
Dr Khalesi speaks English and Persian(Farsi).
