Dr Mohammad Umair Siddiqui completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Ahmadu Bello University, Nigeria, in 2005. He later completed a Master of Public Health at the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom, in 2011.

Dr Siddiqui moved to Australia in 2015 and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) that year. In 2020, he completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational and Environmental Medicine at Monash University.

Before moving to Queensland, Dr Siddiqui worked across hospitals and general practices in Victoria, New South Wales and Western Australia. With more than 20 years of medical experience, he provides patient-centred care and takes a considered and thorough approach to understanding each patient’s healthcare needs.

His clinical interests and services include:

  • Family medicine – providing care for patients of all ages, with a focus on preventive health and the long-term management of health conditions.
  • Skin cancer medicine – providing skin checks, assessment and selected minor surgical procedures.
  • Occupational medicine – providing workplace health, injury management and fitness-for-work assessments.

Dr Siddiqui performs selected skin procedures, including biopsies, excisions, flaps and grafts, when clinically appropriate. His occupational medicine services include workplace injury and WorkCover consultations, fitness-for-work assessments, driver licence medicals, Coal Mine Workers’ Health Scheme assessments, pre-employment medicals and domestic AMSA medical examinations.

Dr Siddiqui speaks English, Hausa and Hindi.
