Dr Rasamak Amini is a friendly and approachable general practitioner with over 15 years of experience, of which he has spent the last decade practicing all over Australia. He has gained a diversity of experience working with people from all backgrounds, from practicing in medical centres in metropolitan, rural and remote to working with refugees in detention centres on and off-shore, as well as aged care and palliative care.
Dr Amini is passionate in all areas of general practice and minor procedures, including but not limited to, travel advice, sexual health issues, men’s, women’s and children’s health, mental health, chronic disease management and pre-employment consultations and exams.
He is a RACGP college examiner and also actively involved in further learning and professional development. Dr Amini has interests in general family medicine, mental health, chronic disease management, adolescent and men’s health. He is also interested in Health IT and applying technology to simplify and modernise general practice. In his spare time, Dr. Amini enjoys reading, spending time with his family and maintaining his garden at home. He speaks Persian as well as fluent English.
