Dr Rasamak Amini graduated in Medicine in 2004 and has been practicing in Australia for the last 16 years. As a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), he brings extensive experience across metropolitan and rural areas, including working in a diverse range of medical centres and aged care facilities and supervising medical students. He has been an examiner of the Royal College of General Practitioners.
In his general practice, he has a particular interest in the following areas:
- Weight management: A crucial area for preventing chronic health issues. He has achieved a high rate of success in helping patients with weight management.
- Men and women’s health: Comprehensive care for all stages of life.
- Children’s health: Addressing the unique needs of younger patients.
- Mental health: Providing support and management for mental well-being.

- Chronic health management: Specializing in managing chronic conditions
- Preventive health advice: Encouraging proactive health measures.
- Medical procedures: Including the removal and insertion of Implanon, removal of foreign bodies, suturing wounds, and performing skin biopsies.
- Travel medicine: Providing advice and care for travelling.
- Chronic pain and musculoskeletal issues management.
In his spare time, he loves reading, gardening and landscaping and spending time with his family.
