Dr Richard Fletcher qualified as a doctor from the University of Manchester (United Kingdom) in 2005 and permanently emigrated to Australia in 2018.
An experienced family physician, Dr Fletcher is committed to providing comprehensive, compassionate care to all members of the community. He has a particular interest in the management of long-term conditions, mental health support, cardiac and musculoskeletal medicine, and health promotion. With a strong focus on collaborative care, he works closely with patients to facilitate the best possible recovery and a return to optimum health and fitness. Dr Fletcher is also a PrEP prescriber.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Fletcher has significant experience in geriatric medicine and works closely with several local aged care facilities.
A firm believer in patient-centred care and the importance of enduring doctor-patient relationships, Dr Fletcher describes his philosophy: “I believe in putting the patient at the heart of decision-making, supporting you through life’s ups and downs with the reassurance of excellent, consistent care.”
Dr Fletcher is available for appointments at our clinic Monday to Thursday, 8am-6pm. On Fridays, he is dedicated to supporting residents in aged care.
