Dr Shamama Khurram is a vocationally qualified and experienced female General Practitioner, having completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Dow Medical College, Pakistan in 2005. She was awarded a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2019.

Dr Shamama is a patient-focused doctor and offers a proactive approach to each person and their unique healthcare journey. With an expansive career spanning over 19 years in the public and private sector, including the last six years caring for the needs of the community in Caroline Springs, Dr Shamama provides preventative, acute and chronic care.

Dr Shamama offers cervical screenings and contraceptive services (including Implanon insertion and removal and Mirena Insertion and removal) and has a special interest in women’s health, children’s health and chronic disease management.

Dr Shamama’s hobbies include travelling and spending time with family and friends.

She also speaks Urdu and Hindi.
