In 2006 Dr Shamini Ramoo graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from UNSW and abtained a Fellowship with the RACGP in 2013. Keen to develop and expand as a practitioner, Shimani has also completed a Diploma of Children’s Health, Masters of International Public Health (Hons) and Masters of Forensic Medicine. Her experience extends to the USA where she has worked in Clinical Research for the Department of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital, New York City. She has also worked as a VMO for the Sexual Assault Services at RPA and Liverpool Hospitals. A mum of two girls, she also enjoys travelling and experiencing different cuisines in her free time.
