Dr Sheetal Vig, originally from the UK, completed her medical training and graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine/ Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Kings College London, United Kingdom, in 2008. She worked in several hospitals and clinics in London before gaining her GP fellowship in 2014. Dr Sheetal moved to Australia in 2016 and has worked in Sydney, country Victoria and the NT before settling in Melbourne. She was awarded her Fellowship at the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), Australia, in 2016.
While Dr Sheetal has experience in a wide breadth of medicine, including paediatrics, women’s health, and chronic disease, her main sub-speciality is skin cancer medicine and general dermatology.
Dr Sheetal has completed several post-graduate certificates, including a Diploma of Skin Cancer Medicine, a Diploma of Dermoscopy, a Diploma of Dermatology, and the Advanced Skin Cancer Surgery certification.
