Dr Shelly Wang graduated from the University of New South Wales and began her clinical years at St George and Sutherland Hospitals. While completing her Diploma in Child Health, she trained at Sydney Children’s Hospital and Neonatal ICU at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. She attained a fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and worked at medical centres in Kogarah, Campbelltown and Drummoyne before joining Bondi in 2017. She has taken some time off to travel the world with a baby sidekick and is now glad to be back practising General Medicine again from January till March 2024. She will then be off travelling again but promises everyone especially her mother that she’ll be back permanently later this year.
Dr Wang has special Interests in all areas of family medicine, especially women’s and children’s health, preventative, and travel medicine. She is accredited in Implanon insertion and removal, and Yellow Fever vaccination.
