Dr Sunil Vyas has been in General Practice serving SW Sydney since the early 1990s. After qualifying in Medicine from Cardiff, UK he undertook various hospital posts in the UK before migrating to Australia and further hospital posts prior to training in General Practice.
Having worked in both solo and multi-doctor practices, Dr Vyas enjoys all aspects of General Practice and feels privileged in developing long-term professional relationships with his patients and their families over many years. He delights in working as a General Practitioner in multicultural SW Sydney.
Dr Vyas speaks English, Gujarati and some Hindi. As a part of his role in practising Medicine, Dr Vyas believes in sharing knowledge and experience with the next generation of Doctors and for many years he has been involved in teaching medical students and General Practice Registrars.
Outside of Medicine he is very active in community and philanthropic service. Over the years he has served as President as well as in various Executive roles for Australian Indian Medical Graduates Association (AIMGA), Gujarati Brahman Samaj of NSW (GBSON) and United Indian Associations (UIA).
Dr Vyas is a Registrar Supervisor with GP Synergy and assists with the training of the Practice’s Registrar Doctors.
