Dr Suranji Perera is a highly accomplished General Practitioner with a diverse background and a strong commitment to patient care. She earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, in 2010. Following her graduation, she dedicated several years to serving as a medical officer in the Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Unit of a prominent hospital in Sri Lanka.
In 2017, Dr Perera embarked on a new chapter in her medical career when she relocated to Australia. Since then, she has been thriving as a General Practitioner, providing comprehensive healthcare services to her patients. Her dedication and expertise were recognised when she achieved fellowship status with The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2021.
Dr Perera’s professional focus spans a wide spectrum of general practice, and she is particularly passionate about several areas, including Women’s health, Men’s health, Child and adolescent health, Chronic disease management, surgical procedures, and Emergency Medicine. Beyond her medical pursuits, Dr Perera is a person of diverse interests. She has an avid passion for travelling, a keen eye for fashion, and cherishes quality time spent with her family.
In addition to her medical skills, Dr Perera is fluent in both Sinhalese and English.
