Dr Viththiya Ilaventhan is a vocationally qualified and experienced female General Practitioner, having completed her Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka, in 2007. She was awarded a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2014. In 2018 she completed a Diploma in Child Health.
After completing her initial training and then practising in various hospitals in Sri Lanka following her graduation, Dr Viththiya migrated to Victoria, Australia in 2011 and continued her work as a General Practitioner in Melbourne VIC before moving to the sunshine capital city, Brisbane, QLD.
She has a special interest in women’s health and paediatrics.
Dr Viththiya speaks Sinhalese and Tamil in addition to English.
