Dr Ataullah Shinwarie, an accomplished and compassionate physician with an impressive background in medicine and a wealth of experience in various medical fields.

Dr Ataullah Shinwarie brings a wealth of knowledge and a heart dedicated to healing. His journey began with a Doctor of Medicine degree from Nangarhar University, Afghanistan, in 1992. Dr Shinwarie’s commitment to making a positive impact on children’s health led him to work as a Paediatrician for UNICEF and WHO at a therapeutic feeding centre for malnourished children. His passion for research led him to pursue an MPH in Epidemiology at QUT, opening doors to a dynamic career in public health.

Having successfully passed the Australian Medical Council exams, Dr Ataullah Shinwarie embarked on a journey in mental health as a PHO at the Prince Charles Hospital, Brisbane. His dedication to comprehensive healthcare is reflected in his rotations through various departments at the Canberra and Liverpool Hospitals in Sydney. Dr Shinwarie has earned accolades, including completing a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) from Sydney Children’s Hospital and achieving a Fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2023.

Dr Ataullah Shinwarie has a special interest in Paediatrics Children’s Health, Mental Health, and Chronic Disease Management. His skills extend to performing Iron Infusions and minor skin procedures.

He’s fluent in English, Pashto, Dari, and Persian, ensuring clear communication for all.
