IMPORTANT UPDATE: Please be advised that from the 1st of November 2023, there will be an increase in consultation fees at Ivanhoe Medical Clinic.

This is due to the increasing costs of running a medical practice and a lack of meaningful increases in Medicare rebates despite inflation in a post-COVID economy.

These changes are necessary to ensure that Ivanhoe Medical Clinic can continue to operate a sustainable practice and maintain the high level of quality, patient-centred health care we pride ourselves on.

Ivanhoe Medical Clinic will no longer offer routine bulk billing for pension card holders. A concession rate will apply, with a gap fee of $33 (see table below).

A small increase to the out-of-pocket cost for health care card holders will also apply (see table below).

Weekend consultations will no longer attract concessional rates and will be the full out-of-pocket payment.

Additionally, NON-STANDARD surgical procedures may incur additional fees regardless of bulk-billing eligibility.
