Dr Abraham Freund’s journey in healthcare began in 1973 when he graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree.

After completing his residency training at PANCH Northern Hospital, he commenced his solo practice in Keysborough, VIC, where he spent over 27 years tending to the medical needs of the local population. During these years, he earned a reputation for his medical expertise and his unwavering commitment to the well-being of his patients.

In his more recent years, Dr Freund made a significant move to Bentleigh, bringing with him a wealth of experience and an enduring passion for family medicine. He has become an integral part of the Bentleigh/Bayside area, serving generations of families and earning their trust through tireless efforts to promote good health and well-being.

Dr Freund’s practice encompasses Family Medicine, Men’s Health, Women’s Health, and Mental Health. He understands that health extends beyond physical well-being and has made it his mission to provide care that supports mental and emotional health.

Dr Freund is fluent in Yiddish, in addition to English.
